Virtuosi Concerts, at the University of
Winnipeg, is committed to celebrating
artistic excellence in live chamber
music performance. Outstanding
local, national, and internationally
recognized artists and ensembles
are featured during the nine-concert
season. Virtuosi's Eckhardt-Gramatté
Hall, affords audiences a musical
intimacy between artist and audience
that is unparalleled. Virtuosi's
innovative Young Artist Program
provides senior music students a
professional performance opportunity
at the opening of each concert
enhancing the concert experience.

ORCHESTRA
The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra
showcases superb local musicians
with appearances by national
and international guest artists.
Concerts cover the range of big
band jazz standards and favourites
to contemporary compositions. It is
Canada's first community-based jazz
orchestra and one of a handful in
North America.
