Canadian Museum for Human Rights
A visit to the Canadian Museum for Human
Rights truly is an experience for everyone.
When planning a trip to Canada, a stop at this
national museum — in Winnipeg, Manitoba —
is a must. We invite our visitors to explore and
reflect on human rights in our country and around
the world.
Whether their interests are in connecting with
important stories and content, or awesome
architecture, the Canadian Museum for Human
Rights delivers.
In addition to our core content experiences, two
of our galleries feature temporary exhibitions,
which are changed regularly. That means there's
almost always something new to see.
A variety of tour and activities, including our
Canadian Signature Experience, Exploring a
Canadian Landmark, can be arranged.
Visits can be experienced in either of Canada's
official languages — English or French.
The variety of content and programming means
there is something of relevance for visitors of all
ages, including students. Education programs
aimed at K to 12 students use a diverse range
of activities, events and tools for human
rights learning.
The Museum is accessible to people of all
abilities, with inclusive standards that set
global examples.
Located at The Forks, in downtown Winnipeg,
close to a number of the City's hotels, and with
easy access to various modes of transport, the
Museum is literally at the centre of it all.
