Winnipeg Art Gallery
Located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg,
the WAG is Canada's oldest civic gallery and
Manitoba's leading art museum. Discover
over 27,000 works spanning centuries and
media, including the largest public collection of
contemporary Inuit art in the world. Explore the
iconic building, while experiencing local, national,
and international art, plus an exciting series of
events and programs for all ages. Find unique,
handmade pieces at Gallery Shop, and take
a break at our complimentary Inuit tea station.
In summer, you can visit the rooftop sculpture
garden with a great view of the city.
While you're here, check out the plans for the
WAG Inuit Art Centre, opening in 2020, the first of
its kind in the world.
Groups of 15 visitors and up receive 20% off
admission and groups of 30 and up receive a
30% discount. One tour guide is required for every
15 people (both English and French available).
Optional art-making workshop and customized
programs upon request. Reserve facility rooms for
meetings and catered meals.
