This incredible collection features more than 13,000 works, including carvings, drawings, prints and textiles representing nearly every community in the Arctic. Customizable tours will introduce your group to these works while demonstrating how Indigenous artists are constantly taking part in the WAG's curatorial process, creating exhibitions and programs that celebrate and foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the North and its peoples. The culmination of this, which is slated to open in 2020, will be the Inuit Art Centre, whose features include a three-storey-high glass vault filled with thousands of Inuit carvings, an interactive theatre, and numerous innovative hands-on features that bridge the Arctic to the Centre. wag.ca - 204.789.0516
