formal gardens, a swimming pool
with flume slides, kiddies splash pad
and wading pool, Brothers Grimm
Witch's Hut, a restaurant, café, and
picnic and barbeque areas. In
summer Rainbow Stage, an open-air
theatre with 2,600 seats, presents
spectacular musical productions;
while in winter, there are toboggan
slides and a skating pond.

Canoe, fish, hike, bike, and picnic in
the summer or enjoy cross-country
skiing and snowshoeing in the
winter. Nature tours are available

the departure point for Canoe River

Completed in 1920, this architecturally
magnificent building houses the
legislative assembly and offices of
government ministers. Learn some of
Manitoba's rich history through the
various statues and plaques located
on the Legislative grounds.
Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for
self-guided tours. Guided tours are
available on an hourly basis, July to
Labour Day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
