One of a Kind Performance Venues There are many fun, interactive ways for students to connect with Winnipeg's top-notch musicians, while a variety of performance opportunities for bands and choirs abound. These venues will be music to your ears: Assiniboine Park & Zoo Fabulous outdoor spaces include the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, the Zoo, and the Tudor-style Lyric Theatre. Lower Fort Garry At this Parks Canada National Historic Site Students can play notes that will ring through history within walls and inside stone lodgings that date back to 1830s. Manitoba Legislative Building Perform in the main foyer where the stairs act as an amphitheatre or at the bottom of the rotunda — whose echoing centre has been utilized by opera singers and string quartets. Canadian Museum for Human Rights This architectural marvel contains numerous areas for students to perform in, including the Garden of Contemplation, where 4.400 sq. ft. of space bathed in sunlight will truly amplify their music throughout the galleries.
