It began when Ed "T-Bone" Anderson and Arlene Kaiser saw the demand for an event space with home-style barbequed food. Since 2002, Ed's son Kyle has taken the reigns, continuing to combine rustic charm and delicious food on this picturesque piece of the prairies. The ranch's 4,000 sq. ft main hall features wood-beamed ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a vast assortment of pioneering artifacts and antiques adorning the walls. As a companion program, groups can book the Prairie Dog Central – a vintage 1800's steam train – to take them to the ranch, which can also involve a stick-up from a band of horse-riding outlaws.
