Let your delegates experience The Royal Canadian Mint and take a rare opportunity to observe the minting of coins on a guided tour. While visiting the Mint's state-of-the-art Winnipeg facility, guests can explore the newly-renovated tour area, check out interactive coin displays, and witness the pressing process that produces more than 1,000 coins every second. There is also space to host a sit-down dinner in the theatre or stand-up reception in the beautiful atrium. Other meeting spaces To service large-scale conference needs off site, consider these two unique meeting spaces. Situated in south Winnipeg in a beautiful park-like setting, the University of Manitoba has a variety of board and banquet rooms, satellite conference capabilities, exhibit space, complete audio/visual services and catering services on site. In the west end of town, the Red River Exhibition Park offers an exceptional 100-acre setting including 62,000 sq. ft. of covered space, making it ideal for trade shows and outdoor events. "The new Event Centre at Club Regent Casino will be an exciting option for meeting planners when it opens in 2014. Thanks to the venue's flexible gala seating system, the room can be set up using many seating arrangements customized to event needs, which is a huge convenience." - Alain Dumonceaux, Director of Food and Beverage at Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.
