Red River Exhibition Park Located just outside the west Perimeter next to Assiniboia Downs, Red River  Exhibition Park is the area's most versatile event destination centre and is home to exciting events, such as the Red River EX and Canad Inns Winter Wonderland. The park is comprised of approximately 80 acres of land with an additional 400 acres available for future growth and expansion. From June 14 to 23, hundreds of thousands of visitors will flood the park  for the annual Red River EX, where live entertainment, interactive  exhibits, vendors,  a midway, talent and art shows can be experienced by audiences of all ages.  Learn about agriculture and animals, experience the thrill of a roller  coaster, play games of chance on the midway and watch a free concert from a wide range of performers who get  enthusiastic  crowds singing and dancing nightly. In summer months, the ever-popular Red River Farmers' Market runs every Saturday from midJuly to mid-September. Browse stalls filled with fresh produce, crafts made by local  artisans, delicious jams and preserves, locally raised meat, baking and more. Building up to the spirited holiday season, the park transforms into Manitoba's largest and most  dazzling drive-through light show. From early December to early  January, Canad Inns Winter Wonderland features more than  one million  lights in more than 25 themed areas, during a 2.5 km  drive, all viewed from the comfort of your vehicle. 3977 Portage Avenue adjacent to Assiniboia Downs – just outside Winnipeg (west) tel: 204.888.6990 email: info@redriverex.com  www.redriverex.com Royal Canadian Mint wA The Royal Canadian Mint's facility in Winnipeg produces billions of coins each year.
