The Canadian Museum for Human Rights presents the triumphs and tragedies of human rights stories from across the globe, all staged within an awe-inspiring architectural setting that climbs from darkness to light. The Winnipeg Art Gallery showcases works spanning the late Renaissance through to the present and is home to the world's largest collection of contemporary Inuit art. It will be showcased in grand scale when the $65 million, 40,000 sq. ft. Quamajuq opens to the public in early 2021 with a particular emphasis on sculpture via a three-storey glass vault. The city's smaller museums and galleries are great too, with some standouts including, Dalnavert Museum, Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame, Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre, St. Boniface Museum, Urban Shaman Contemporary Aboriginal Art Gallery, aceartinc., cre8ery, Graffiti Gallery, Mayberry Fine Art and Platform: Centre for Photographic & Digital Arts, to name but a few.
