The positioning statement expresses how a business wishes to be perceived. Tourism Winnipeg promotes Winnipeg as a desirable site for meetings, conventions, business, sports, special events, groups and leisure travellers in order to increase visitation and tourism expenditures. Promotional efforts highlight a wide array of quality meeting venues, sport facilities and accommodations, all surrounded by a wealth of unique, outstanding and easily accessible attractions and services that provide year-round enriching experiences with exceptional value and broad-based appeal. MISSION STATEMENT Tourism Winnipeg uses its mission statement to create a shared vision of its organizational essence. The mission statement brings focus to the organization, setting the stage for long-term development. It is an inspiring statement regarding the purpose of Tourism Winnipeg.
