In Bright Lights 4 Pantages Theatre, built in 1913-14, hosted vaudeville performances by Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin and the Marx Brothers. Tickets cost 10, 15 or 25 cents for an exclusive box seat. It was the first air-conditioned building in Winnipeg. Huge pieces of ice were placed in the basement and large fans were used to blow air over the ice and cool the patrons. * Prairie Theatre Exchange is the only live theatre in the world that is located in a shopping centre.
