Manitoba Museum
The Manitoba Museum is unique in Canada,
as it is the only heritage centre where you can
experience a world-class Museum, a Science
Gallery, and a Planetarium Theatre—all under
one roof.
The Museum has recently renewed nearly 50%
of the galleries, making them more relevant
and vibrant for all. Visit us to explore the history,
nature, and science of Manitoba.
Our HOST IT HERE! group tour programs are
developed with you in mind, offering benefits,
services and packages geared for tour operators,
travel planners and receptive operators.
Educational and customized program options are
available to suit your needs, along with welcome
reception and dinner options.
Every visit to the Museum, Science Gallery and
Planetarium is a new unique adventure, sure to
spark the imaginations of visitors of all ages.
The Museum Galleries tell the story of Manitoba
from the Arctic coast to the prairie grasslands.
The interrelationship of people and the
environment comes to life in the interpretive
displays of artifacts, specimens and dramatic
walk-through settings.
Become an astronomical explorer and embark
on a voyage of discovery in the full-dome
Planetarium Theatre. Visitors go on a trip through
the starry galaxy, including pre-produced shows
or customized
Live with the Stars presentations.
Experience hands-on learning in the Science
Gallery. From building challenges with LEGO™
bricks, test driving your own race car, to saving
Lake Winnipeg through state-of-the-art game
simulations, it's undeniable that interactive
learning is fun for all.
