Western Canada.
Low Life Barrel House
398 Daly Street North • lowlifebarrelhouse.com
Winnipeg's most unique brewery/winery/piquette(ry) is
situated within an elegant taproom that showcases how
they create their foeder aged bretts (don't worry, we had
to Google that too) within huge oak barrels. Low Life is
also home to Next Friend Cider, which creates its unique,
hyper-local brews using "orphaned fruits" from backyards
throughout the city.
Nonsuch Brewing Co.
125 Pacific Avenue • nonsuch.beer
Nonsuch beers just taste expensive and are so apropos
when being savoured in its elegant, gorgeous room by
Fireside Design. The whole package was named one of
the "The ten best new restaurants on the Prairies" by The
Globe and Mail. Best burger in the city (yup, we said it).
