Experiences
The following Winnipeg experiences
are part of Destination Canada's
CSE Collection.
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights'
Exploring a Canadian Landmark half-day
experience begins with a guided tour
through vibrant galleries full of human
rights stories. A gourmet lunch is served
in a beautiful location beneath the glass
"cloud," where the conversation continues
with the tour guide. The focus then shifts
to the building's unique architecture and
exotic rock faces, and guests take home
pieces of the Museum itself (alabaster
and basalt) in an elegant gift box.

Experience Winnipeg's own "Da Vinci
Code" on a Hermetic Code Tour at the
Manitoba Legislative Building. This
provincial icon is full of occult clues
concealed in its architecture including
hidden hieroglyphic inscriptions,
numerological codes and Freemasonic
symbols so intelligently masked they have
escaped historians and visitors for nearly
100 years. heartlandtravel.ca

munching bison and visits to a Plains Cree
tipi and Pioneer Sod House. Snowshoe
in winter or paddle a Voyageur canoe in
the spring and summer, and savour bush
tea and bannock cooked over a campfire.
