This free smartphone app allows visitors to create and compare now and then photos on
two historical walking tours. Examine the city's boomtown from 1870 to 1912 or Winnipeg's
history from 1913 to 1945, a period marked by strife, depression and war. At each stop, users
find themselves standing in the exact spot as the person who took the historic photograph to
compare the city's past and present.
