The Forks Market Patio The licensed patio at The Forks Market features endless views of the river, The Common's outdoor bar in the summer months and a large canopy with a shaded seating area to sit and enjoy with friends and visitors. In the winter, the canopy is home to a skating rink with twinkling lights and special weekend programming offered throughout the season. Johnston Terminal This historic building offers three levels of specialty boutiques, galleries, entertainment spaces and dining experiences. It is also connected to the Travel Manitoba Visitor Information Centre. Niizhoziibean Niizhoziibean, which translates to "two rivers" in Ojibway, honours our city's Indigenous heritage and its prominent place alongside the Red and Assiniboine rivers. This special space, which features a wiigiwaam (gathering place), public artwork and walking paths, is intended to be a place of reflection and a connector to other neighbourhoods via a Main Street entryway. Oodena Celebration Circle By sharing stories of sacred sites and celestial wonders, Oodena Celebration Circle preserves The Forks' 6,000-year legacy of being a meeting place for all. A three-metre excavated bowl, bordered by cobblestone bases, ethereal sculptures and a naked-eye observatory, features a hidden fire pit and serves as a culturally significant meeting place. The Skateboard Plaza at The Forks The Plaza at The Forks is Canada's best and largest urban skate plaza and bowl complex, which has had the distinction of being sought out by such prominent skaters as Tony Hawk and Bam Margera.
