Jeanne Cakes This dessert is emblematic of a birthday party in Winnipeg. Jeanne's Bakery sells these traditional log cakes with shortbread cookie bottoms that have generated many die-hard fans. Old Dutch This local brand of potato chips is known for the many fun flavours they produce, from Rip-L Au Gratin, to Crispy Bacon and, of course, Ketchup. Russian Mints These are the prized, top-selling, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate mint creations sold at family business Mordens' of Winnipeg. Shmoo This Winnipeg specialty torte is an angel food cake layered with fluffy whipped cream, nuts and caramel. Baked Expectations is a popular spot for this sweet delight.
