symphonic music in the heart of the Canadian prairies.

Embrace winter at Western Canada's largest winter

Freeze Frame International Film
Festival for Kids of All Ages
March 8–14, 2026
Enjoy entertaining and inspiring films from Canada
and the world on the big screen at Freeze Frame. Get
up close with filmmakers during Q&As and hands-on
workshops. Opening and closing screenings are FREE for
the whole family.

In 1970, "American Woman" topped
international music charts and was the
No.1-selling single in the world. Winnipeg
rock'n'rollers The Guess Who, who
penned the tune, went on to become one
of Canada's largest cultural exports. That
year, they sold more albums than any
other band in the world, including
The Beatles and The Doors.
