CANADIAN MUSEUM FOR HUMAN RIGHTS W M The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, located at The Forks is Canada's newest national museum. The Museum's galleries are built around human rights themes. Complex issues must be explored from multiple perspectives. As a result, the Museum weaves human rights stories of many diverse groups throughout its galleries — reflecting powerful lessons that transcend individual experiences. The variety of content and programming means there will be something appropriate for visitors of all ages. As a tribute to the heroism of fire fighters, the museum displays hand and horse drawn, steam and early motorized fire apparatus, artifacts, photographs and records dating back to the 1880s.
