WINNIPEG 2015-2016 | MEET WINNIPEG'S NEWEST STARS 3
welcome
[ ]
Winnipeg is having its moment.
Found in the heart of Canada, our city of 782,640, has expanded
its universe with new one-of-a-kind attractions and amenities to dazzle
visitors and delegates alike. And our new stars shine brightly. Opening
in 2016, RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg will nearly double in size
and includes the City View Room, a spectacular hall with room to
host galas for 2,800. Canada's newest national museum, the
Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR), sparks discussion
about humanity's triumphs and tragedies. With its stunning
architecture, the CMHR has also become a stellar venue for
receptions, meetings and galas.
And meet our resident polar bears who live at Journey
to Churchill, Assiniboine Park Zoo's expansive exhibit. Inside,
delegates can sip wine as they watch the bears swim overhead in
their pool. Take our inspired new venues and attractions, add them to
Winnipeg's already excellent convention and meeting infrastructure, and
you've got a prime destination.
It's our time to shine.
Now let us show you our stars.
