Bring the family to watch the American Association's Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club step up to the plate at Shaw Park, where there's not a bad seat in the house. 12. Enjoy talented children's entertainers, face painting and hands-on activities at Kidsfest at The Forks (June 4-7). 13. Theatre in the Cemetery places a performance amongst the graves of St. Boniface Cathedral from July to August where stories regaling Manitoba's French and Métis history bring you right to the burial grounds of many of the characters. 14. Manitoba's largest outdoor market takes place from mid May to the end of September every Wednesday, and every Saturday until November at the St. Norbert Farmers' Market. 15. The Manitoba Museum displays a vivid portrayal of this region's past with the celebrated Hudson's Bay Collection, and then takes you across the universe in their Planetarium, which utilizes one of the world's most advanced projection systems. 16. One of the best ways to see the city, all while learning its history, is by cruising along the waters with Splash Dash River Tours. 17. Navigate a challenging high ropes course, go zip- lining and try your hand at cable wakeboarding at Adrenaline Adventures. 18. Spend a beautiful summer evening on the roof of the Winnipeg Art Gallery for its Live on the Rooftop concert series featuring a range of music genres performed by local musicians. 19. There are few parks more stunning than Assiniboine Park in the summer, with its near- endless gardens and sprawling grounds that provide ample tranquility.
