Art for the ages
Go back to antiquity by immersing yourself in a pantheon of priceless
works at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. The monumental Olympus:
The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin will feature 160 works,
including sculptures dating from the 5
th
century BC to the 2
nd
century
AD. Winnipeg is one of only two North American cities to have the
privilege of displaying these classical works, which will run until
March 30, 2016. Guided group tours are available, including the
option of an interactive art-making workshop in several mediums
where you can grasp just how incredible these ancient works are.
