Situated on an attractive peninsula of land with the river winding around it, the colonists had easy access to the Hudson Bay post for supplies, drinking water, and transportation. Its citizens were the future leaders of Winnipeg. The tour begins from the Ross House Museum in Joe Zuken Heritage Park and is approximately 45 minutes long. No admission fee.
