Canadian Museum for Human Rights
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is
the world's only museum dedicated to human rights
education and awareness.
Every visitor experience is a combination of amazing
interactions with the Museum's symbolic architecture
and its well-researched content. Using the latest
technologies, the oldest forms of storytelling and the
timeless power of art, hundreds of experiences are
woven into a rich tapestry that relays the importance of
human rights for all.
Visits can be experienced in either of Canada's official
languages, with information and services readily
available and easily accessible in both French and
English. The CMHR has embraced an approach to
inclusive design that sets new Canadian and world
standards for universal accessibility.
Education programs aimed at K to 12 students use
a diverse range of activities, events and tools —
inside and outside of this national centre for human
rights learning.
A variety of tours and activities can be arranged.

• Curriculum-specific content for students of all ages
• Indigenous experience
Cost for these offerings start at $5 per person, and are
in addition to the cost of admission.
