A play within a park
Since 1955 "Uniquely Winnipeg/Definitely Broadway" musical comedies have been
performed throughout the summer at this enchanting open-air stage in picturesque
Kildonan Park. The 2016 season at Rainbow Stage sees Cash: Ring of Fire (June
23-July 15) and Shrek: The Musical (August 11- August 21) two shows that are
sure to be music to your ears and a feast for your eyes.
Backstage tours are available for groups that will pull back the curtain
before the show and reveal all the intricacies behind the production
like the elaborate costumes, stage sets, and audio and lighting
components. Your group can also receive VIP lounge service
where they can wet their whistle and enjoy some great snacks
at before the show and at intermission while overlooking the
Red River.
