It is Tourism Winnipeg's mission to facilitate a healthy, prosperous,
responsible and fully integrated tourism industry that enhances
Winnipeg's economic growth through the acquisition of meetings,
conventions, sports and events, group and packaged travel and
leisure visitation.
POSITIONING STATEMENT
Tourism Winnipeg promotes Winnipeg as a desirable site for
meetings, conventions, business, sports, special events, groups
and leisure travellers in order to increase visitation and tourism
expenditures. Promotional efforts highlight a wide array of
quality meeting venues, sport facilities and accommodations,
all surrounded by a wealth of unique, outstanding and easily
accessible attractions and services that provide year-round
enriching experiences with exceptional value and broad-based
appeal.
