Catch a Winnipeg Blue Bombers game at Investors Group Field, which was the 2015 host of the 103rd Grey Cup. The atmosphere is always passionate at Investors Group Field, making it one of the best stadiums to see CFL action in — plus, there's not a bad seat in the house. Investors Group Field will also host the two most-attended games in hockey for the year, as the 2016 Tim Horton's NHL Heritage Classic outdoor game comes to town on October 23, with the Winnipeg Jets playing the Edmonton Oilers. Perhaps even bigger than the official NHL game, will be the alumni game on October 22, which will see all time greats like Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier lacing up for the Oilers, while Jets fans are sure to freak out when Teemu skates once again for the Jets. I tell you, there will be tears in people's eyes — god bless that Finnish flash! Speaking of passionate fans, you're not going to find a crazier (in a good way) crowd than Winnipeg Jets' fans at the MTS Centre. The smallest arena in the NHL has also become the most-envied by visiting players, as the atmosphere of the MTS Centre is often bombastic, with crazy chants and the always impressive belting of "True North" (an homage to the team's owners) during "O Canada." The Jets have a young, tall and fast team this year, with all eyes being on new second overall draft pick, 18 year-old Finnish sensation Patrik Laine (perhaps he'll be our next Teemu!). And let's not forget about our AHL team, the Manitoba Moose, whose games at the MTS Centre are both affordable and fun. For those of you who like to get right in the game(ing), there's the Casinos of Winnipeg: Club Regent and McPhillips Station Casino — both of which feature all the big games like black jack, poker tournaments, roulette and slots — while Shark Club Gaming Centre also has slot machines, roulette, blackjack and VLTs. Finally, for you race fans, there's Assiniboia Downs; even though the last live horse race of the season is on September 11, you can still catch Simulcast races all winter long at the track in their inviting, exciting environment which also includes an impressive roster of VLTs.
