Page 40 It's our Time It's our Time BuSiNESS plaN corporate Sales blitz In both Manitoba and Saskatchewan provincial sales campaigns will commence in early Fall 2017. The campaign will be directed by professional sale representatives from both the Winnipeg and Saskatoon committees to drive group package sales from our respective business communities. The World Junior Regional Reps will also be involved. By working with local Chamber of Commerce and other targeted business associations, no stone will be unturned in this strategic and targeted sales approach. christmas blitz We will have the benefit of two Christmas sales periods, one in 2017 for full event packages and one in 2018 for full event packages, mini packages and single event tickets. There will be thousands of event tickets under Manitoba and Saskatchewan Christmas Trees on these holiday seasons. A dynamic media campaign will ensure that everyone is thinking about World Junior hockey tickets for the fans on their lists. mini-packs Mini-packs will be offered depending on the success of the full event package sales. A launch date would be tentatively set for fall of 2018. individual tickets Individual tickets will be the last ticket product to go on-sale in late 2018. Blocks of tickets will be sold to Corporations to distribute to less-fortunate hockey fans who do not have the resources to purchase tickets. re-Sell There will be an opportunity for full event package holders, corporate ticket buyers and sponsors to re-sell tickets to games they may not be able to attend. This also allows an opportunity for charitable minded organizations to purchase these tickets and donate them to inner-city youth hockey teams and others from around the two provinces. This would be a chance of a lifetime for these fans! affordable tickets Our business plan is based on best possible ticket pricing while making a strong commitment to the financial success of the event. There will be value-priced seating in both facilities, plus less- fortunate fans will have the opportunity to see games thanks to the re-sell program and charitable organizations. Full event package buyers will be offered the opportunity to purchase their tickets on a purchase plan that will accept quarterly payments from the date the purchase was initiated. public relations / media The media have already committed $1.35 million in television, radio, and newspaper promotional support for the event. The combination of purchased and in-kind media advertising plus the outstanding event coverage that the media will provide translates into blanket coverage throughout the two provinces. The IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will be "Front page" and the "lead Story" on every media outlet throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan leading up to and during the event. Many of the media partners are nationally and internationally affiliated so the whole world will know what is going on when the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships "Face Off at Centre Ice Canada" in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
