Completed in 1920, this architecturally
magnificent building houses the legislative
assembly and offices of government
ministers. Learn some of Manitoba's
rich history through the various statues
and plaques located on the Legislative
grounds. Self-guided tours of the building
available year round and guided tours
are available in summer. Please see the

This award-winning architectural gem is
the main branch of the Winnipeg Public
Library. A gift shop, public art, reading
terrace and green space all make it a
favourite destination for residents and
visitors alike to read, play, connect, and
learn.

a supermarket with locally-sourced goods
such as wild rice, foraged blueberries and
Manitoba freshwater fish. Its BisonBerry
Restaurant serves uniquely Manitoban

store features indigenous handmade arts,
crafts, music, and books.
