first post office in Western Canada, Métis
history and the 1850s homestead life of
the Ross family. The museum is one of
the last remaining examples of Red River
frame architecture in Winnipeg.

The exploration of space is the greatest
journey humanity has ever undertaken.
"Astronaut," narrated by Ewan McGregor
(Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars
prequels) is the next best thing to being
there. Also includes a live segment on
the current night sky and special shows

Interactive exhibits encourage learning
and discovery. See a full-sized rocket, build
and test drive your own race car, touch
a meteorite, interact with a tornado and
explore Lake Winnipeg in an award-
winning simulator.

Walk through time and see artifacts and
memories of the province's rich sport
history and achievements including the
AVCO Cup and Clara Hughes' bike from
the 1996 Olympics. Be inspired by our
province's sport heroes.
