Name: Mandel Hitzer Eateries: Deer + Almond, RAW: almond Claim to food fame: Mandel's creativity has no bounds as illustrated by the playful small plates that come out of his kitchen, and the national award-winning pop-up restaurant RAW: almond that springs up on the frozen river for three weeks in late January to mid-February.
