WINNIPEG 2017-2018 | YOUR WINDOW OF OPPORTUNIT Y 23 MAY/JUNE - PRIDE WINNIPEG 2017 marks the 30th anniversary for central Canada's largest pride festival. Pride Winni- peg (May 26-June 4, 2017) features an amped-up parade featuring fantastic sights, sounds and colourfully costumed people dancing through downtown's streets. The 10-day festival celebrating sexual equality culminates in an outdoor festival at The Forks featuring music, merriment and food. JUNE - TD WINNIPEG INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL Some of the world's best jazz musicians descend upon Winnipeg every summer for the TD International Jazz Festival (June 15-25, 2017), turning downtown into one swinging party. Shows are held at different venues throughout the city's core including a massive free con- cert held in The Cube, the Exchange District's iconic outdoor stage. Special concert series and marquee performances are also held throughout the year hosted by Jazz Winnipeg. JULY/AUGUST - FOLKLORAMA The world's largest and longest running multicultural festival takes place in Winnipeg every summer (August 6-19, 2017). More than 40 cultural pavilions spring up around the city where you'll be welcomed to a country's culture via food, music and dance. During Folklorama, you can take your delegates to the party where they can learn to cook, play an instrument and move with their worldly hosts. You can also bring Folklorama's roster of worldly talent to your convention event any time of the year. SEPTEMBER - MANYFEST The best of downtown living, working and playing converges in one super weekend cel- ebration at the end of every summer (September 8-10, 2017). This über-popular street party features live music, an old-timey cycling parade with costumed riders in turn-of-the-20th century garb, Food Truck Wars, Wine Fest and a soap-box derby along the boulevard.
