winnipeg
Last year, the whole city took pride
when National Geographic Traveler
named Winnipeg as one of the world's
20 "Best Trips" for 2016, calling our
"multicultural, multilingual metropolis of
800,000," the "Little Spark on the Prairie."
While it was exciting, it was only a start.
We've since played host to major events
like the Grey Cup, the NHL Heritage
Classic, and the FIFA Women's World
Cup, while this summer we'll once again
be in the limelight with the 2017 Canada
Summer Games.
In fact, the whole city is going to be the
scene of one big celebration throughout
2017 for Canada's 150th anniversary.
We've geared up with outstanding
activities at our world-class attractions
along with countless cultural events
that will make for a fabulous and
festive environment to compliment the
meetings and conventions being held in
the up-coming year.
All of us here at Tourism Winnipeg would
relish the opportunity to help book your
next conference so you can experience
firsthand how Winnipeg has quickly
become one of North America's top
convention cities.
Read through this magazine to learn more
about the partners who are ready, willing
and able to deliver your best-ever event.
Cheers and see you soon!

Normally, we are known as a modest bunch here in Winnipeg,
but these days we can't help but say we've got it going on.
