Page 27 FACILITIE S AND ACCOMMODATIONS SHAW PARK Conveniently located downtown, it is a multi-use facility built for the American Association's Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball team with a seating capacity of 7,481. The ball park is more than a playing field and regularly hosts outdoor sporting events and entertainment shows. SUBWAY SOCCER SOUTH INDOOR COMPLEX Located at the University of Manitoba, the complex houses a full field sized at 210' x 330' with electronically lowered curtains that divide the field in half or quarters. It can also accommodate other sports such as football, baseball, rugby and lacrosse and is well-suited for activity sessions, fitness evaluations and clinics. UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA – MAX BELL CENTRE Is comprised of an athletic field and an arena. The James Daily Fieldhouse has a seating capacity of 1,350, while the Wayne Fleming Arena has a seating capacity of 1,600 with one ice surface, four hockey dressing rooms, a referee's room and public men and women's change rooms. The field house has a 200-metre track and is an excellent facility for tennis, soccer, baseball, volleyball and basketball. UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG – AXWORTHY HEALTH AND RECPLEX A full gymnasium and athletic centre that features a large multi- use artificial turf field with three cross-fields, a four-lane 60-metre rubberized sprint track, a multi-purpose room, dance/yoga studio, a media box, canteen and underground parkade. This multi-use facility is adjoined to a new health, wellness and healing centre. WINNIPEG SOCCER FEDERATION NORTH A 120,000 sq. ft. indoor facility with FIFA-sized pitches, circular seating for 1500 spectators, 16 change rooms, a concession and pro shop. There is a meeting space on the second-floor mezzanine, which boosts the overall square footage to 165,000. The facility can also be used for "all green sports," including ultimate disc, baseball evaluation camps, touch football and rugby. Shaw Park Max Bell Centre Investors Group Field
