Page 13 CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS Banners/Signage on the Course HOC will collaborate with NOC to produce and place signage on the course indicating event partnership. Promotions HOC will work with NOC to add promotional content to its developed annual marketing calendar to allow for maximum exposure of both groups. Media HOC works annually with a Media Sponsor (currently Corus Group of television and radio as well as Metro News) to provide as much coverage for our event prior to and during race weekend. This partnership is one piece of our marketing calendar and works in conjunction with our social media plan and other media advertising, including magazine print and web. Pre Event Press Conference HOC provides a media lunch on the Thursday prior to race weekend sponsored by our major title sponsor Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries. Sponsoring companies, as well as VIP members of the running community and media are invited to the lunch for the distribution of annual awards, thank you presentation to sponsors and information highlighting race weekend. Event is hosted by Executive Director and Chair of the Board of Directors. Photographers HOC currently hosts Sportstats as their official event photographer as well as a volunteer team of on course photographers. HOC would extend the necessary facilities and services for NOC's photographer(s). Information In conjunction with NOC, HOC will be responsible for the production and distribution of all media information (general, bulletins, guides, results, and statistics). As previously stated, HOC has a strong media calendar that would easily accommodate the addition of profile for NOC. Website Hosting and Posting of Results HOC would be willing to promote the 10km or Half Marathon Championships on the home page (www.manitobamarathon.mb.ca) with an easily distinguishable link to the Athletics Canada website (www.athletics.ca). Live Streaming HOC has confirmed that IGF has the technical capacity to provide an embeddable live stream of the event that can be webcast through AC's platform. SECURITY HOC will provide security in conjunction with the Winnipeg Football Club's Fan Ambassador volunteer team and their contracted security provider Impact Security.
