Winnipeg is a hub of tourism: ours is a city rich in arts, culture, sports and entertainment. Home to a passionate and thriving artistic community, our city has bred talent including 2013 Governor General's Award-winning writer and poet Katherena Vermette and critically-acclaimed filmmaker Guy Maddin. Winnipeg is also proud sports city with a very passionate and involved athletic community. Our world-class athletic facilities have hosted events for many national and international scale organizations, including the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015, 103 rd Grey Cup and Grey Cup Festival, and the 2017 Canada Summer Games. Our recently expanded facilities have hosted events for many national and international-scale organizations, and you will experience that our city is full of enthusiastic fans and volunteers – all of whom will create an amazing atmosphere for your participants.
