SPORT FOR LIFE CENTRE As part of the 2017 Canada Games legacy, the Sport for Life Centre, will be a major resource and hub for athletic excellence. It will be comprised of the Sport Manitoba offices, a Sport Medicine Centre, Paul Robson Resource Centre for Leadership and Coaching, Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and a comprehensive Qualico Training Centre and will be completed in 2017. WINNIPEG SOCCER FEDER ATION NORTH A crown jewel for indoor soccer opened in Winnipeg in 2016 and features a 120,000 sq. ft. indoor field, FIFA- sized pitch and 360 degree seating for 1,500 spectators. ACTIVE LIVING CENTRE – UNIVERSIT Y OF MANITOBA Won the National Intermural Recreational Sports Association's Outstanding Sports Facility Award in 2016 for its architectural design and functionality as a physical activity and wellness centre.
