The shrine illustrates the courageous
life of a modern Christian martyr,
having suffered severe torture during
the soviet regime in Ukraine, through
museum artifacts, panels, and
multimedia presentations. He died
in Winnipeg in 1973 and rests in
this beautifully designed shrine, the
second martyr's shrine in Canada.
