interpretation offered inside reconstructed Fort
Gibraltar, but also through the many attractions
inside Voyageur Park and at the festival's various
official sites. Musical entertainment of various
styles, traditional cuisine, sensational snow
sculptures and captivating shows are but a few
examples of the entertainment you can expect to
witness during this convivial gathering. Offering

Fort Gibraltar
During the summer, Fort Gibraltar takes your
guests a world away, on the banks of the Red
River, where colourful characters living to the
"beat" of 1815 greet you. Fort Gibraltar, once a
North West Company fur trade post, reflects the
lifestyle of the settlement and the roles played by
the Métis, settlers, explorers, aboriginal people
and the adventuresome voyageurs.
Witness the fascinating history through the eyes
of the voyageurs, play voyageur games including
axe throwing and discover the diverse cast of
characters that call it home.
There is plenty of free parking, group tour
programs, workshops and a banquet room for
catered meals and box lunches. Reservations for
groups of 10 or more are required and can be
made by contacting:
