YES! Winnipeg assisted the company from inception to launch by connecting and liaising with municipal government regarding building codes, permits, timelines and more. Additional assistance included the facilitation of introductions to government and industry support programs, along with local providers and stakeholders to ensure the project moved forward as planned. 30 jobs, $3M investment. Zip Remit A financial services and technology company providing remittance services, Zip Remit operates in 28 countries worldwide and process over $120 million USD annually. The company announced they will be relocating their leadership team and establishing a corporate office in Winnipeg. YES! Winnipeg worked with Zip Remit to demonstrate why Winnipeg's innovative culture, industry leading businesses and collaborative eco-system make this city the optimal location for their project compared to other Canadian markets and assisted with connections to local service providers. 80 jobs, $12M investment. Mogo Finance Technology Inc. An innovative online/mobile Canadian fintech institution specializing in small loans, mortgages, pre-paid Visa cards and free credit scores, Mogo selected their Winnipeg office for the planned expansion of their product support team. YES! Winnipeg presented to the company's senior leadership on why Winnipeg was an ideal market for their expansion, while also assisting with government navigation, introductions to government assistance programs and connections to potential workforce providers. 25 jobs. Skybridge Americas Inc. A North American customer solutions centre with operations mainly in Winnipeg and Minnesota, Skybridge made the decision to expand their Winnipeg workforce. YES! Winnipeg facilitated introductions to potential government support programs, connections to workforce providers, information on Winnipeg's competitive advantages and local supply chain connections. 200 jobs, $1.2M investment. Since launching the YES! Winnipeg initiative in January 2011, 83 projects have been supported, which led to the estimated creation of 4,950 jobs and $577.3 million in capital investment when operations mature. In its seventh full year of operation, YES! Winnipeg engaged with numerous companies looking to grow, relocate or establish themselves in Winnipeg. In total, YES!
