Graffiti Gallery is a not-for-profit
community youth art organization that
hosts community urban art exhibits
by young local, Canadian, and
international artists. More than 700
emerging artists have performed or
shown their work since it opened in
1998. The satellite gallery located
at The Forks Skate Plaza features an
additional six panels of art that can
be viewed.
Open Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to
5 p.m.; also Monday and Thursday
until 9 p.m.

GRANT'S OLD MILL

See a working replica of Cuthbert
Grant's original water-powered mill
built in 1829. During summer, see how
wheat is ground into flour. The mill
celebrates Grant and the Métis culture
the second Saturday in July with a
barbecue and activities and a pioneer
picnic on the third Saturday in August.

IVAN FRANKO
MUSEUM

Ivan Franko was a 19th century
Ukrainian writer and political activist.
Oil paintings in the museum illustrate
highlights of his life; other artwork
illustrate his literary work. Also on
display are colourful Ukrainian folk
art including musical instruments,
tapestries, ceramics, embroidery,
and wood carvings.

LIVING PRAIRIE
MUSEUM

The Living Prairie Museum is a 12
hectare (30 acre) tall grass prairie
preserve and Interpretive Centre.
Protected in 1968, this preserve is
home to over 160 species of prairie
plants and a great array of prairie
wildlife. Less than one per cent of
tall grass prairie remains in North
America. The Living Prairie Museum is
one of the few remaining fragments
of this once vast ecosystem. Enjoy
self-guiding trails, exhibits, and
seasonal family events.
