A MAZE IN CORN
A Maze in Corn Amusement Farm
offers something for all ages. Enjoy
a bird's-eye view of the Manitoba
prairies on the two-hour zip line tour
between seven towers. Little ones
love the petting zoo, while visitors
get in their daily exercise navigating
Canada's longest-running corn maze.
A can't miss is the 15-foot-tall Bale
Pyramid made with over 300 giant
bales. As the moon rises in October,
the creatures of the legendary
Haunted Forest come alive.
Open daily, August to the end of

Discover one of Canada's largest
urban nature forests. The paved
Sagimay Trail takes you through
forest and meadow to the Eve Werier
Memorial Pond. A six km system
of woodchip trails radiate from the
Sagimay Trail which in turn provides
access to the Preston Trail and the
Harte Trail, part of the Trans Canada
Trail system.

playground is one of Winnipeg's
finest attractions. Explore the animal
kingdom at the Assiniboine Park Zoo;
bask in exotic florals in the English
Garden; discover the miniature train
and Nature Playground for kids;
admire art in the Leo Mol Sculpture
Garden and Pavilion; enjoy concerts
and special events; rent a tandem
bicycle; traipse the fitness trails; and
picnic and barbecue in the wide-
open green spaces. In winter, cross-
country ski, skate, and toboggan at

With over 80 park-like acres to
explore, the zoo is a great place for
family fun in every season. Journey
to Churchill is home to playful
polar bears, seals, and other Arctic
animals. The McFeetors Heavy
Horse Centre offers a glimpse into
Manitoba's pioneer past. The zoo is
also home to exotic animals including
Amur tigers, gibbons, and snow
leopards. Explore Toucan Ridge, an
indoor oasis featuring tropical plants,
and the Kinsmen Discovery Centre
where you'll find amphibians, snakes,
and curious meerkats. In summer,
visitors can explore the Shirley
Richardson Butterfly Garden and
Australian Walkabout.

The winding paths and free-form
beds of the English Garden are a
feast for the senses and provide an
approachable view of nature. The
Boy with the Boot statue and Queen
Victoria Monument are located in this
colourful floral garden that is open
free of charge.
