Thunder Rapids has five different
types of go karts (from kiddie karts
for drivers as young as three years
old, to thunder karts for ages 14+),
water-squirting bumper boats, batting
cages, video games, a concession
stand, jungle gym, picnic area,
barbecue rentals, and an 18-hole
mini-golf course.
Open summer, Monday to Thursday,
10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday,
noon to 9 p.m.; spring and fall,
noon to dusk.

Tinkertown is an outdoor family
amusement park with more than 20
rides and attractions that include a
half-mile train ride, carousel, ferris
wheel, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl,
"Wacky Mouse" roller coaster, and
various kiddie rides. It also has a
18-hole mini-golf course, concession
stand, and gift shop.
Open mid-May to June, Saturday
and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m.; July
and August, daily, noon to 7 p.m.
(weather permitting).
