business
2018 saw the launch or expansion of many
new businesses in Winnipeg , as well as
the opening of new buildings, new job
creation, and new investment across multiple
industry sectors. Taken together, it's clear
that Winnipeg is open for business. Some
highlights from 2018 include:
True North Square
True North Square welcomed tenants
into its first building in June, while the
square was unveiled to the public in
September.
Canada Goose
Canada Goose opened its third
manufacturing facility in September,
which is expected to create 700
new jobs over three years.
SkipTheDishes
SkipTheDishes continued its rapid growth,
passing the 2000 employee mark in 2018.
