Meetings and conventions pacing
Looking at event pacing in the current year as of May 2019 total booked
business is up 15.5 per cent in 2019 from 2018. The total number of
delegates and total room nights are up significantly; 70.2 and 102.4 per
cent respectively due to a higher number of large events.
Event pacing for the coming year 2019 is pacing above the same period
last year; growth of 60.9 per cent. Delegate counts and room nights are
pacing significantly ahead of last year due to an increase in the number of
large events; 97.0 and 143.2 per cent respectively.
