regional theatre. In 2010, it was honoured with
a royal designation from Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II. Each year, the Royal Manitoba
Theatre Centre presents six plays at the John
Hirsch Mainstage, four plays at the Tom Hendry
Warehouse, a Master Playwright Festival and
the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival—North
America's second-largest Fringe Festival.
Season runs October through May.
