Urban Shaman: Karen Asher Mayberry Fine Art Mayberry Fine Art is centrally located in a restored heritage building at the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District.   Representing more than 30 leading contemporary artists from across Canada, the gallery features an amazing selection of paintings and sculpture displayed in over 6000 sq. ft. of gallery space. With more than 35 years experience, Mayberry Fine Art also offers expertise in important historic Canadian art of the 19th and 20th centuries.  Watch for special exhibitions at the main gallery on McDermot Avenue, as well as at Mayberry Fine Art's satellite space in the Winnipeg Square concourse. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10  a.m. to 6  p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open until 9 p.m. on the first Friday of the month from June until September for the Exchange District's First Fridays. 212 McDermot Avenue – Exchange District Winnipeg Square – 360 Main Street, near the Fort Street Entrance (display only – open during regular mall business hours) – Downtown Nunavut Gallery w With one of North America's most extensive collections of Inuit Art, Nunavut Gallery shows more than 5,000 works of art including more than 500 individual sculptures of polar bears, representing the best of Canada's world renowned Inuit artwork. The newly renovated gallery is more than 2,500 sq. ft. in size and it is as much a museum as it is a place of business. Owner Richard Kroeker has more than 25 years experience in the Inuit art field. Art on display includes sculptures, drawings, prints and wall hangings that feature world famous and emerging artists, such as John Tiktak, Nunu Parr, Jessie Oonark, Kenojuak Ashevak and many more. 603 Corydon Avenue – Corydon Platform: Centre for Photographic and Digital Arts w PLATFORM is Manitoba's only artist-run centre devoted exclusively to photographic and digital arts.
