with a guided tour of the award-winning Journey
to Churchill exhibit. Travel from the edge of the
boreal forest through Manitoba's north viewing
snowy owls, Arctic fox, muskoxen, seals and polar
bears in naturalized habitats inspired by the
northern landscape. Experience unique views of
polar bears and seals swimming overhead as
you pass through the Sea Ice Passage.
The outdoor Gardens at The Leaf include close
to 30 acres of new gardens and revitalized
greenspace. There are six themed areas to
explore: Indigenous Peoples Garden, Kitchen
Garden, Sensory Garden, Performance Garden,
Seasonal Garden and The Grove. The Leaf, a
magnificent new indoor horticulture attraction, is
expected to open in late 2022.
