Day 1
See the city through an expert's eyes with

line will dazzle students, while tours utilizing
interactive exhibits and hands-on experiences
can be tailored to test a students' knowledge of
Canada and the globe.
At FortWhyte Alive, Winnipeg's award-winning
nature reserve, group eco tours combine history
and culture. Experiences include a guided bison
safari over prairie grasses where you'll get up-
close to these huge animals, playing traditional
Inuit games and learning basic wilderness
survival skills.
In the evening, head to a Winnipeg Goldeyes
baseball game at Shaw Park. The Goldeyes offer
performance groups the chance to perform the
national anthems right on the field, while bands
and choirs can also play for crowds at the main
gate before the first pitch is thrown.
Day 2
Spend the morning at Assiniboine Park
Zoo's Journey to Churchill, where students will
learn how Arctic fox, polar bears, seals, muskox
and snowy owls have adapted to extreme
conditions and how climate change will affect
them going forward.
From there, it's on to an afternoon at
the Manitoba Museum, where students can
discover how Inuit survived and made tools using
limited resources like skin, stone and bone.
After a long day of learning, head to Across
the Board Game Café, a spacious café in
Winnipeg's Exchange District National Historic
Site. Across the Board houses approximately
1,600 board games to choose from, while a fun
and fresh menu of salads, pizzas and sandwiches
